The Academic Support Programs team created a number of virtual workshops available to the Rowan community.

Academic Resources
Academic Standing refers to where students stand in terms of their academic progress and Grade Point Average (GPA). All matriculated undergraduate Rowan University students must adhere to the Academic Standing Policy.
Academic Advisors are available to meet with students to review academic plans, explore career options, and select classes for upcoming semesters.
Accessibility Services Office can assist students who require accommodations in the classroom by coordinating and ensuring accessible classes, use of assistive technology, examination administration, and other services as deemed necessary.
Change of Major: contact the University Advising Center (UAC) to schedule an appointment with an advisor to discuss possible change of major. You may Email: advise@rowan.edu or call the UAC at 856-256-4459.

GPA Scales and Calculations provided by the Office of the Registrar allow students to tally their own semester and cumulative GPA.
Library Resources:
- Ask a Librarian can help students with research questions via phone, chat, or in person. Students also have the option to request an appointment for a more in-depth consultation with a subject specialist librarian.
- Course Readings/ Reserves allow students to search for print material on reserve for their course. These are available at the Information Desk.
- Group Study Rooms are available at the Campbell Library and can be reserved using the Rowan University Libraries online reservation system.
- Research Guides and Support provided by Rowan University librarians are available for every academic program and are a helpful starting point for all of your research needs.
- Workshops offered by the Library
Professor Office Hours: you may schedule time to meet with your professor/ instructor during their office hours to review course material, assignments, discuss your performance in the class, and more.
Registrar Forms available online include change of name/ address, proof of NJ residency, add/ drop/ withdrawal forms, and overrides/ waivers.
Success Coaching can help students adjust to the rigors of higher education, gain a better understanding of campus resources, develop plans for academic, and social development and more. Many students working with a success coach focus on things like time management, study skills, organizational skills, procrastination/motivation, and learning strategies.
Tutoring is available to all Rowan University undergraduate students free of charge. Small-group or drop-in tutoring is available in most subject areas.
- Brainfuse is an online professional tutoring platform available to Rowan students, to supplement our own peer-to-peer tutoring program. Brainfuse offers students’ academic support through a 24/7 online service and is available at no charge.
Writing Center is staffed by tutors who can help students with a variety of writing needs, including questions about citations.
Career/ Major Related Resources
Career Counseling is available to help you identify your interests and skills, start a job search campaign, write a resume, and prepare for an interview.
Career Events and Workshops are hosted by Office of Career Advancement.
Career Talk is a podcast featured on Rowan Radio that offers tips and advice on employment.
FOCUS 2 is a self-assessment inventory tool that can help students learn more about themselves and explore career opportunities related to their major. Contact the Office of Career Advancement or the University Advising Center for more information.
Life Values Inventory can help individuals and organizations clarify their values and serve as a blueprint for effective decision-making and optimal functioning.
PROFS JOBS is a free, web-based system where students can search for full-time, part-time, summer, and internship positions.
Financial Resources
Bursar's Office handles billing, payments, deferred payment plans, refunds, health insurance waivers, third-party agreements and past due accounts/collections.
Course: Financial Wellness: Planning for Personal Financial Success
A two credit course which enables students to understand, manage, and plan for their financial lives during their college years and beyond. Students will learn about concepts related to personal finance including budgeting, setting financial goals, understanding debt, and implementing strategies to prepare for their future and gain tools to better navigate the complexities of personal finance. Donated Meals Program provides a number of meals each semester for students with demonstrated financial need who are facing food insecurity on campus.
Financial Aid Office at Rowan University can assist students with the process of applying for different types of aid to help pay for college-related expenses. You can make an appointment with a Financial Aid Counselor through RSN.

o Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Financial Literacy and Money Management Resources offer helpful tools to assist students with budgeting and managing their finances.
Fresh For All Program provides free fresh fruits and vegetables to students and community members. This market is open every Friday from 10-11AM in Parking Lot D on Rowan’s Glassboro campus.
ProfCents website includes links to a variety of resources ranging from academic services and financial assistance to computer lab locations, free tax help, and cost-saving transportation alternatives.
Student Emergency Funds support eligible students facing unexpected hardships. The funds cannot be utilized to satisfy a University bill (e.g. tuition, fees, housing), they may be used for other personal expenses (e.g. transportation, personal health, emergency groceries, basic needs, required technology for remote learning). Contact the Dean of Students for more information.
The SHOP is Rowan University's on-campus food pantry and resource center available to students in need. The SHOP offers a range of free and confidential support services that can connect students with appropriate campus and community resources.

ProfPals is a program designed to help all students at Rowan feel a sense of connection and belonging while facilitating student engagement.
Rec Center is a health facility that can be used for recreational activities, fitness programs, intramural sports, sport clubs and instructional classes.
Residential Student Resources including TV, computer, appliance, and transportation information can be found on the Office of Residential Learning & University Housing website.
Rowan Shuttle Service runs three routes: Internal, Campus-to-Campus (Glassboro-Camden) and South Jersey Technology Park (SJTP). Shuttle schedules are available and services are free to Rowan students, faculty and staff with valid Rowan ID.

Well-Being Resources
Dietician services are made available by Gourmet Dining at Rowan University. They are here to support students and help make them feel comfortable and safe when dining on campus. If you are unaware of options available to meet your dietary needs or simply want guidance and tips about on campus dining, we encourage you to reach out to set up an appointment.
Pet Therapy Program can be a nice break from schoolwork and other concerns. You may schedule a virtual and/or in-person appointment here.
Rec Center is a health facility that can be used for recreational activities, fitness programs, intramural sports, sport clubs and instructional classes. It is open seven days a week for currently enrolled, full-time students. Memberships are also available for part-time students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Mental Health Resources- Off Campus
- Local Therapists in Gloucester County & Surrounding Area
- NJ Suicide Prevention Hopeline: 1-855-654-6735. Specialists are available for confidential counseling and support 24 hours a day, 7 day per week by phone, text, or chat.
- Online Screening for mental health can be helpful for students struggling with various issues and to determine if they might need to seek counseling
