You are eligible for academic advising for the major in which you were offered admission to Rowan University. This major is listed in your admissions materials. If you would like to change your major, please email transferhelp@rowan.edu with your name, Banner ID number, and desired major.
Prior to contacting your advisor, please:
1. View the Self-Service Banner registration information

You will use Self-Service Banner for many services, including course registration. Please make sure you are comfortable using Banner to search for classes prior to meeting with your advisor.

2. Learn about the credit evaluation and transfer credits processes

- It may take a few business days for your transfer credits to be processed once received by the Office of the University Registrar.
See what credits transferred to Rowan.
- View and print your unofficial transcript within Self-Service Banner. Select the Student tab, Student Records, then the Transfer Credit Report or Academic Transcript options.
- Please bring a printed copy of this with you when you meet with your advisor.
- If you are enrolled in fall or winter classes at another institution, these courses will not be listed as approved transfer credits until your final transcripts with all grades are received by Rowan.
- Please bring a printed copy of your current course schedule to your advising appointment, however that may not be sufficient for any pre-requisites needed to enroll in courses until the final transfer credits with grades are posted.

5. Use Section Tally to explore course availability
Use Section Tally to explore course availability.
- Select the term, then use search options to view courses, check the "Display only sections with space available" checkbox to view courses available to you.
