Fall Orientation: Welcome Week
Fall Orientation: Welcome Week events are a vital follow-up to Summer Welcome Days and will continue to grow your knowledge of campus resources and organizations.
As a result of their participation in Welcome Week, students will:
- Report feeling welcomed to Rowan University and having met others.
- Be empowered to become engaged with campus activities, organizations, and services.
- Demonstrate an understanding of behavioral expectations and the importance of making positive personal wellness choices.

Group Schedules
Students will be assigned to a "nest" - a Fall Orientation group with a Welcome Week leader. You will meet with your nest in an assigned classroom at times throughout Welcome Week. Residential students will receive their Fall Orientation schedules when they check in to their residence hall. Commuting students will receive their Fall Orientation schedules at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 30 in Pfleeger Concert Hall in Wilson Hall.

An interactive workshop designed to help you visualize your journey to healthcare. We will review healthcare paths and plan your journey, starting with your time at Rowan University and moving forward toward your interested healthcare career.

Transitioning to college can be overwhelming. For incoming students with disabilities, there can be additional challenges and decisions to be made, such as registering for accommodations and adapting to a new lifestyle. This workshop will showcase a panel of current Rowan students with disabilities sharing their lived experiences on topics including: transitioning to college, benefits of registering for accommodations, the importance of self-advocacy, and utilizing campus resources, and knowing that "It's OK to Ask for Help" along the way.
