Undergraduate Positions
Welcome Week Mentor
Welcome Week Mentors to support and guide incoming first-year commuter students during Welcome Week. Mentors will serve as a resource, role model, and point of connection for new students. Mentors will help first-year students navigate campus life, access university resources, and build a sense of belonging. Responsibilities include facilitating daily group discussions, collaborating with the Office of Off-Campus Services and campus partners on events, providing programmatic support, and maintaining regular engagement with mentees throughout their first semester. This position requires full availability from August 18 through September 1, including mandatory training sessions on August 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, and 26. Welcome Week runs from Wednesday, August 27 through Monday, September 1, 2025.

Peer Referral & Orientation Staff (PROS)
The Peer Referral and Orientation Staff (PROS) are undergraduate students who know first-hand what it is like to deal with the concerns of Rowan University students. The PROS assist their peers in transitioning to Rowan and resolving any general adjustment problems that may arise in the process. They serve as excellent resources on campus organizations, academic exploration, and campus life. The PROS serve as orientation leaders and peer mentors, providing advice and referrals to various campus departments as needed after orientation.

Summer Orientation Clerical Assistant
The Clerical Assistant is a valued member of the orientation staff and reports to the Director of Orientation & Student Leadership Programs. Functional supervision is received from the Office Administrator as well as other graduate and professional staff in the office. The Clerical Assistant assists with routine office tasks, reception, and preparation for orientation programs that impact students’ academic and personal achievement at Rowan, and is expected to provide overall support to make each program a success. In all activities, the Clerical Assistant recognizes that service to new students and their parents and family members is a top priority.
Clerical Assistants are expected to work May - August 2026.

Graduate Coordinator Positions
Application Information
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interviews will take place March 2 - 6, 2026. Offers may be made at any time after a student has been admitted to a graduate program. Candidates will be allowed a reasonable consideration period in order to weigh other graduate program and assistantship offers. We will not insist upon a response to the offer until the Council of Graduate School’s April 15th date for responding to offers of financial support.

Graduate Coordinator for Orientation
The Graduate Coordinator for Orientation is a valued member of the Division of Student Life staff and reports to the Assistant Director for Student Leadership Development. The Graduate Coordinator is responsible for the successful preparation for and delivery of orientation and leadership programs that impact students’ academic and personal achievement at Rowan and is expected to provide overall support to make each program a success. In all activities, the Graduate Coordinator recognizes that service to students is a top priority.
Contract dates: August 10, 2026 - May 14, 2028 *renewed yearly pending job performance
Preferred start date: May 18, 2026 (date negotiable) *with the option to work hourly from May - August 2026
Remuneration:
- Tuition assistance for up to 9 credit hours a semester and up to 36 credit hours over two academic years (approximate value of $29,000)
- Hourly pay of $18.24 per hour from May 18 - August 7, 2026. Graduate Coordinators are expected to work 25 hours a week during the summer.
- $14,500 annual stipend paid biweekly over the course of the contract. The Graduate Coordinator is expected to work 20 hours a week during the academic year.
Graduate Coordinator for Orientation Job Description
Graduate Coordinator for Fraternity & Sorority Life
The Graduate Coordinator for Fraternity & Sorority Life is a valued member of the Division of Student Life staff and reports to the Assistant Director of Student Organization Services within Orientation & Student Leadership Programs. The Graduate Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative and student service functions that support our fraternity and sorority chapters, the governing bodies within Fraternity & Sorority Life, and individual students’ leadership development. The Graduate Coordinator is expected to provide overall support to enhance chapter and individual student leadership development for the fraternity and sorority community at Rowan. In all activities, the graduate coordinator recognizes that service to students is a top priority.
Contract dates: August 10, 2026 - May 14, 2028 *renewed yearly pending job performance
