First-Year Orientation

Welcome to Rowan University!

We are excited to have you join our University community. Orientation is your introduction to your new campus community, and provides you with the information you need to make the most of your Rowan experience.

We know starting college can be a lot to manage, so we have four unique orientation experiences for first-year students. You are encouraged to attend all four programs, as they are designed to give you the information you need to complete the next step in your college transition when you need it:

  1. New Student Checklist & Online Education Requirements (after confirming admission)
  2. Summer Welcome Days (June 25 - August 28)
  3. Fall Orientation: Welcome Week (August 28 - September 2)
  4. Start Thriving (September 2 - October 12)

Attendance at these orientation programs is required, but also a fun way to get connected to campus and meet other new students. Your attendance at orientation will be tracked as part of your ProfLink Involvement Path, and the more programs you attend the more chances you have to receive a Rowan Rewards event attendance prize! You can view your progress towards completing your undergraduate orientation requirement and earning your Rowan Orientation t-shirt on ProfLink.
