Luis Acevedo

Sophomore, Chemistry

Camden, NJ

Luis is part of the ASCEND (EOF/RISE) program as well as Rowan at Camden. Luis is a first generation student and is involved with Rowan University at Camden Alliance of Student Activities (RUCASA).

 

Rumaysa Asim

Junior, Psychological Science

Cherry Hill, NJ

Rumaysa currently works as a resident assistant on campus. Rumaysa is involved with the Women of Color Collective, the Pre-Health Society, Patchwork, and the Dr. Harley E. Flack Mentoring Program

 

Haley Brobst

Sophomore, Biological Science

Flemington, NJ

Haley volunteers with the Student University Programmers. She currently works as a member of the Rowan Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team.

 

Johan Burke

Senior, Computer Science

Bear, DE

Johan is a member of the Thomas N. Bantivoglio Honors Concentration in the Honors College and works as a computer science research assistant. Johan is the Vice President of the Anime Club, a member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Computing and Informatics Honor Society, a member of the Chess Club, and a spirit committee member of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity.

 

Mariana Cardenas

Junior, Psychology

Dumont, NJ

Mariana serves as a United Latinos Association Senator and the Co-Chair and Vice President for Colleges Against Cancer. Mariana is a first generation student and is a member of Prism, Circle K, and volunteers with the Office of Volunteerism, Community Engagement & Commuter Services. Mariana also participated in Alternative Spring Break at the Carolina Tiger Rescue.

 

Sabrina Chepigan

Sophomore, Music Education: Vocal

Marlton, NJ

Sabrina is a member of the National Association for Music Education and Sigma Alpha Iota, the music fraternity for women. She performs with the Concert Choir, the Opera, and is a member of True Colors. 

 

Theresa Coutinho

Sophomore, Biological Science

Haddon Township, NJ

Theresa runs Division III Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track with Rowan University. She is an ASCEND tutor, a member of MAPS, and currently works as a member of the Rowan Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team. 

Autumn Cruz

Sophomore, Psychology

Cherry Hill, NJ

Autumn works as an Admissions Ambassador and a Peer Mentor with the Office of Social Justice, Inclusion, and Conflict Resolution. Autumn is a member of the Rowan Select program. She works with the Rowan Television Network and the Freshmen Leadership Involvement Program (FLIP). Autumn is a first generation college student. 

 

Robert Emmanuel

Junior, Finance 

Watchung, NJ

Robert works as an Admissions Ambassador on campus and is the President of the Rowan Student Investment Group and the Vice President of the Financial Management Association. Robert also serves as the Student Government Association Assistant Vice President of Facilities and Operations. 

 

Steph Evans

Junior, Environmental Studies 

Blackwood, NJ

Steph currently performs in Concert Band and is a sister in the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. 

 

Joe Frascella

Sophomore, Health & Physical Education

East Windsor, NJ

Joe is a member of the Thomas N. Bantivoglio Honors Concentration and a member of the Student Alumni Association. Joe volunteers with Unified Sports, the Student University Programmers, and Leadership Rowan. 

 

Sam Furman

Sophomore, Electrical & Computer Engineering 

Lewes, DE

Sam is a member of the Thomas N. Bantivoglio Honors Concentration. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Branch. He also performs with the Rowan Concert Band and the Honors Jazz Band. 

   

Cam Hadley

Sophomore, Advertising & Public Relations 

Somerset, NJ

Cam currently works as a Rowan Rec Center Intramural Official, a Resident Assistant, and a social media student worker with Web Services. She serves as the Student University Programmers Director of Marketing and plays club soccer. Cam is also a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, American Sign Language Club, Student Alumni Association, Leadership Rowan, and the Rowan Intramural Recreational Sports Association. 

   

Aaron Lee

Sophomore, Biochemistry 

Williamstown, NJ

Aaron currently works as a Resident Assistant. He serves as the Treasurer for the Anime Club, a representative for his Hall Council, and is a member of the Improv Club. 

Allison Niemiec

Senior, Psychology & Law/Justice

Cedar Grove, NJ

Allison currently works as a Schizophrenia Spectrum Lab Assistant. She serves as the president of the Anime Club and is a member of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity. 

 
 

Sarah Niles

Sophomore, Communication Studies 

Haddonfield, NJ

Sarah works as a Rowan Rec Center Intramural Supervisor and Official as well as an office worker for the Student Center and Campus Activities office. She is the secretary for the Student University Programmers and the #RowanProud Chair for the Student Alumni Association. She also participates in club soccer and Leadership Rowan. 

 

James Orapello

Sophomore, Computer Science

Wayne, NJ

James is a part of the intramural bowling league and also works with Unified Sports. James volunteers with the Student University Programmers and Colleges Against Cancer. 

 

Matt Ortiz

Sophomore, Mathematics 

Hammonton, NJ

Matt serves as member of the Freshmen Leadership Involvement Program (FLIP) and his Hall Council. Matt is actively involved with the Student University Programmers and the Student Alumni Association. 

 

Anna Pietrzak

Junior, Management

Cinnaminson, NJ

Anna is a member of the Thomas N. Bantivoglio Honors Concentration and works as a Resident Assistant. Anna is a member of the Honors Book Club, the MIS Club, the Honors Stress Relief Group, Leadership Rowan. Ballroom Dance Club, Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society, a volunteer with the Office of Volunteerism, Community Engagement, & Commuter Services. She serves on the Resident Hall Association President's Council, is Director of Recognition for the National Residence Hall Honorary, a coordinator for the Honors Student Organization, and the Secretary and Treasurer for the Mentoring and Professional Development Club.
