To finalize your transition, there's a few things you need to do. Please review and complete your next steps for enrollment as soon as possible.

Senior Year Transition Checklist
Set up your Rowan University accounts
- Follow these steps to set up your University Accounts
- Once your accounts are active, please start checking your Rowan University email on a daily basis
PLEASE NOTE: It can take up to 48 hours AFTER you confirm your enrollment to be able to set up and access your accounts
Connect with the 3+1 Advising Team
- You can attend a group onboarding information session or an individual appointment
- Additional details will be sent by email

Complete the Rowan University Orientation and review important information
- Orientation is mandartory for all for all students and will help you get to know Rowan University policies, systems, and resources. Details will become available in the admissions potal once available.
- Additionally, you will receive access to a Global UG Student Resources & Community Group within Canvas in June. Once available and enrolled, you will receive an email to your Rowan University email address inviting you to the course.
- Log-in to Canvas (www.rowanonline.com) using your Rowan network username and password
- Select Access your courses in Canvas, then Global UG Student Resources & Community
In addition, students are encouraged to review 3+1 FAQs.
Review your Financial Aid (if applicable)
- Renew your FAFSA and ensure that it is complete
- Check your Financial Aid
- Contact the Financial Aid office if you are unsure of your financial aid status
Register for your courses
- Your advisor will provide you with a list of courses and recommend plan of study
- Class times and details can be found on the Schedule and Registration Page
- For Nursing students, please email your Academic Advisor, Patrice Henry-Thatcher, henrythatcher@rowan.edu for registration information
- For Inclusive Education students, please email rowan3plus1@rowan.edu or israelm@rowan.edu.
Submit required health forms
- Steps to complete health forms can be found in the New Student Checklist in the Application Portal and in orientation information.
- Please direct all questions to the Rowan University Wellness Center at 856-256-4333 or email wellnesscenter@rowan.edu
Pay your bill and waive health insurance
- IMPORTANT: A bill will not be available until approximately 4-6 weeks before the term begins; you will be notified via your Rowan University email once your bill becomes available to view
- Once your bill is available, you will be able to waive student health insurance if applicable (applies to full-time students only)
- Please review the instructions in the New Student Checklist in the Application Portal
Obtain your student ID card
- Follow the instructions in the Rowan Card Website for uploading your photo or refer to the instructions in the online orientiation.
- Your RowanCard will be printed and mailed to your address on file
Register with University Resources (if applicable)
Please note: Privacy regulations prevent disability accomodations and military/veteran status from being communicated between the Rowan Colleges and Rowan University. Incoming transfer students will need to register with these offices if applicable.
The Office of Accessibility Services provides accommodations and assistance to students with various documented disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. If you previously received accommodations through RCSJ or RCBC’s Student Support office, you may receive accommodations through Rowan University. To register with the Office of Accessibility Services, please use the Accessible Information Management system (AIM).

The Military Services Office at Rowan University provides assistance to veterans and dependents of veterans with their education benefits. The Veterans Affairs Office also provides programming and resources for the campus community.
If you are a current military service member, veteran, or dependent who receives tuition benefits, you must complete the paperwork required for processing your benefits with Rowan University for each upcoming semester.

Preferred Name Policy
The Rowan University Preferred Name Policy enables members of the campus community, including students, faculty and staff, to use and be known by a preferred name that affirms, reflects, and/or expresses their gender, culture, and/or other aspects of their social identity in the classroom and conducting general business at the university. Rowan University will make good faith efforts to display preferred names to the University community where feasible and appropriate, and to update the reports, documents and systems designated to use preferred names.
