Accommodated Testing

Proctoring will be available Fall and Spring Semesters Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Testing Center. Evening testing appointments are available October 1 - December 3 & February 3 - April 29 on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

How to Schedule an AIMS Appointment

Access AIM from the Office of Accessibility webpage by selecting Go to AIM, or search for AIM in MyRowan.

1. Under My Accommodations, select Alternative Testing.
2. Select the course from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter the assessment details.
4. Select Submit Request.
5. Monitor your Rowan email for important updates about your accommodated testing appointment.

How to Extend Time on a Canvas Quiz or Test

RowanCard Required

A valid RowanCard ID is required at check-in for every testing appointment. Testers must present their RowanCard before they will be permitted to enter the testing room.

No RowanCard ID = No Testing. Testers who arrive without their RowanCard will not be permitted to test and will need to reschedule their appointment.

Electronic Devices

Electronic devices are prohibited during all testing appointments. This includes cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, smart glasses (including Meta glasses), and other electronic or recording devices.

All electronic devices must be removed and stored in the designated area at check-in before testing begins. Smart glasses cannot be worn in the testing room, even if prescription lenses are installed. Testers who require corrective lenses must bring a basic, non-electronic pair of prescription glasses to use during their appointment.

Testers who are unable or unwilling to store prohibited electronic devices will not be permitted to test.
