Academic Advisors are available to meet with students to review academic plans, explore career options, and select classes for upcoming semesters.
Academic Improvement Program (AIP) is a requirement for students on Academic Notice. Students may email academicsupport@rowan.edu for more information.
College Level Examination Program (CLEP) offers exams in introductory subjects that allow students to demonstrate their mastery of college level material and earn college credits.
Enrollment and Degree Verifications may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar. Loan lenders, insurance companies, and/or employers may require this information in order to confirm a student's enrollment or degree earned at Rowan University.
Freshman Application Instructions & Checklist
GPA Scales and Calculations provided by the Office of the Registrar allow students to tally their own semester and cumulative GPA.
Office of Accessibility Services can assist students who require accommodations in the classroom by coordinating and ensuring accessible classes, use of assistive technology, examination administration, and other services as deemed necessary.
Registrar Forms available online include change of name/ address, proof of NJ residency, add/ drop/ withdraw forms, and overrides/ waivers.
Success Coaching can help students adjust to the rigors of higher education, gain a better understanding of campus resources, develop plans for academic, and social development and more.
Testing Services is located on the 3rd floor of Savitz Hall within the Academic Success Center.
Transcript Request Information can be found on the Office of the Registrar's website. Students looking to obtain a copy of their official or unofficial transcript should follow the steps provided online.
Transfer Application Instructions & Checklist
Transfer Credit Information can be found on the Office of the Registrar's website. Rowan University accepts the transfer of credits earned at other institutions of higher education on the basis of course equivalency.
Tutoring is available to all Rowan University undergraduate students free of charge.
- Brainfuse is an online professional tutoring platform available to Rowan students, to supplement our own peer-to-peer tutoring program. Brainfuse offers students’ academic support through a 24/7 online service and is available at no charge.
University Writing Center is staffed by tutors who can help students with a variety of writing needs, including questions about citations.

Barnes and Noble Bookstore at Rowan University offers the option to rent select textbooks, purchase used textbooks, and sell back textbooks at the end of each semester.

Book Loans may be available to eligible students through the ASCEND department.
Course Readings/ Reserves may be available at the Library. Course reserves allow students to search for material for their course. To locate books or media that have been placed on reserve, use the binders at the Circulation Desk in the Campbell Library.
COVID-19 Publisher Offering PDF lists common textbook publishers and links to their online resources. Faculty or students who may have difficulty affording textbooks during this time may be able to access materials for free or at a reduced cost.
Rowan's Textbook Alternative Program (TAP) partners with faculty and departments to leverage the knowledge and expertise of faculty members seeking to reduce the cost of the course materials in their course(s).
