Rowan Group Study (RGS) is a staff-led academic support program offering quiet, low-stress group study sessions facilitated by trained professionals. Designed for students who want consistent support and structured time to complete assignments, RGS promotes strong study habits while connecting students with key campus resources.
Each session is led by a Learning Facilitator, a professional staff member trained in academic success strategies, who provides structure, accountability, and personalized guidance.

How It Works
RGS sessions are designed to be simple, consistent, and easy to access - just sign up, show up, and get to work with support along the way.
- Sessions Offered: 5 days a week
- Format: 60-minute in-person or hybrid sessions
- Group Size: 5–6 students per group
Session Flow
- Check-In (5–10 min): Set a goal for the session
- Guided Study (40–50 min): Work time with facilitator support
- Wrap-Up (5 min): Reflect, share progress, and plan next steps
How to Sign-Up
Use RSN to book your session. Choose a time that fits your schedule and come prepared to focus. Students are encouraged to attend 1–2 times per week.
Faculty & Staff: How You Can Help
RGS is a valuable referral option for students needing structured academic support. Please encourage students who:
- Are struggling to stay on top of coursework
- Need accountability or improved time management
- Benefit from regular check-ins with staff
