College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams are designed to allow you to demonstrate your mastery of college level material in introductory subjects (and earn credit). CLEP offers 33 exams in 5 subject areas. CLEP exams are not specific to Rowan University; they are accepted by more than 2,900 colleges and universities and administered in more than 1,800 test centers, including the Rowan University Testing Center.
If you have any questions related to scheduling the CLEP exam, please email testingservices@rowan.edu. Emails are answered in the order they are received. Questions related to how the CLEP exams transfer for credit, please contact the Registrar's Office.
Schedule a CLEP Test Appointment
Step 1: Register & Pay on College Board
Cost: $89 test fee paid to College Board + $33.50 proctoring fee, paid to Rowan University.
Step 2: Schedule a testing appointment with the Rowan University Testing Center.
