Leave of Absence
A leave of absence is intended for Rowan University matriculated undergraduate students who plan to take a leave from the university for up to four consecutive semesters. Students must apply for a Leave of Absence through University Advising Services.
Please note: In alignment with the federal definitions of enrollment statuses, students on Leave of Absence with the University are reported as withdrawn to the National Student Clearinghouse and the National Student Loan Data Systems (NSLDS)
Before Requesting a Leave of Absence:
- Discuss your potential leave of absence and coursework with your academic advisor.
- Contact Residential Learning and University Housing regarding your housing assignment.
- Contact the Bursar's Office to discuss your student account.
- Contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss the financial implications of taking a leave of absence.
