Academic Improvement Program
Undergraduate students who have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) below 2.0 and have been placed on Academic Notice will be enrolled in the Academic Improvement Program (AIP). AIP is a supportive program intended to help students get back on track and into Good Academic Standing.
The requirements of the Academic Improvement Program (AIP) are outlined in a zero-credit Canvas course. Students enrolled in this course will be asked to complete tasks including a Self-Assessment designed to help identify factors that may have led to their Academic Notice status.
Students placed on Academic Notice will meet with an Academic Support Coordinator to discuss obstacles hindering their academic success and learn about resources available to help.
