What is ProfPals?
ProfPals is a program designed to help all students at Rowan feel a sense of connection and belonging while facilitating student engagement with the Thrive dimensions of well-being.
What does all that mean? It means that ProfPals help students by highlighting events on campus that might be of interest, going to events and bringing others along for the ride, and being a connection students can have on campus. Students are encouraged to reach out to a ProfPal to make a connection - especially if they are finding it challenging to make connections, or attend events. The ProfPal will assist students with engaging in various events and activities on campus, highlighting all of the wonderful resources Rowan has to offer.

Hi, I’m Paul! I am in my third year, majoring in Computing & Informatics and minoring in Marketing. I like playing Nintendo games, going to live music events, and watching horror movies. You can find me at school events, I try to go to as many as possible, or walking around on campus. I love learning and doing new things as much as I can, and would consider myself to be a jack of all trades. Feel free to get in touch with me if you want to connect!

Hi everyone! My name is Sadaf and I am from Bangladesh. It's a beautiful country with amazing people. I am a sophomore here at Rowan. I am currently majoring in MIS(Management Information Systems). I would say I am pretty flexible and I genuinely love helping people. Some things I enjoy are watching sci-fi movies, listening to podcasts, sharing stories about my journey to the United States, and learning about new places and people. Apart from that, I would just be available for anyone at any time. Reach out!

Hi! My name is Julia, you can also call me Jules. I'm a Law & Justice student with a dual minor in World Religions and Psychology and I am also in the Martinson Honors College! Here at Rowan, I love meeting other students, being a part of the Pride of the Profs Marching Band, hanging out with my BLAST group, and going to new club meetings. Outside of school I love listening to true crime podcasts, going to the beach, playing The Sims 4, and getting tattoos and piercings! This year I've been improving my mental and physical well-being by trying new meditation and guided breathing methods! I can't wait to get connected with you all! Feel free to reach out if you want to chat!

Hi, my name is Razan and I’m a junior, and my major is International Studies. I’m originally from Sudan (North Africa), and my first language is Arabic. My unique journey instilled in me a profound interest in human rights and diverse cultures. This year I’m planning on improving my well-being by allocating time for my academic pursuit, personal life, and social activities, making sure that I’m not only focusing on school but also enjoying life. Let’s connect, learn from each other, and celebrate our differences.

Hi, Alexzia here! I'm a senior here at Rowan this year, currently majoring in Liberal Studies where I study Law & Justice and Sociology. I also have C.U.G.S in Spanish, Japanese, and ASL. I love learning languages, reading, anime, and art. I'm usually hiking it to class or some other event on campus especially if there is a D-I-Y involved. This year for my well being I am focusing on my time management and self-care. To do so I'm reading more and taking more time for things I enjoy like drawing, writing short stories, and getting involved on campus. I look forward to meeting you and making the most of this year!

Hi! I'm Lindsay and I've been at Rowan for almost 9 years. I majored in Psychology in college with a minor in Studio Art. I love anything involving sports and competition, so don't be surprised if you see me at the Rec Center playing pickleball or out on the softball field. Some of the ways I tend to aspects of my well-being include reading a good book (and talking about it), playing board games, and doing anything outdoors. I'm excited about working with the ProfPals because I believe our students can learn such important information from one another, and I want all of our Rowan students to feel connected and supported.
