Internship
Students in the Law and Justice Major are required to complete 3 credits in an approved and registered internship placement. The Internship course (LAWJ 05356) is offered in Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer semesters, and students are encouraged to start their internship search approximately 6 months prior to taking the course.

Tips From Your Advisor
Keep in mind that your program has a minimum grade requirement! Studies are required to earn a C- or better in all Law and Justice Studies major courses.
Get involved! Student clubs are a great way to meet other students, expand your industry knowledge and network.
Thinking about law school? Pre-law advising is available. Dr. Michael Weiss, the Department Chair, is available for pre-law advising weissm@rowan.edu. In addition, the department hosts pre-law events and information sessions; keep your eye out for updates in the CHSS news and events update emails.
The CHSS Center for Professional Success is a great resource for career guidance throughout your time at Rowan. They can assist with an internship search, graduate school information, and host career-related events throughout the academic year.
