Biography

Marisa (pronouns: she/her/hers) is the academic advisor for 3+1 Inclusive Education students. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication Arts at Caldwell University and Master of Arts in Higher Education: Administration at Rowan University. Marisa’s work in higher education includes experience in academic advising, program development, athletics, and admissions. Being a first-generation college graduate and former student athlete, Marisa has developed a strong commitment to creating a sense of belonging for all students at Rowan University. Marisa is rejoining the 3+1 team after returning to the South Jersey area from California where she managed a Student Success Coaching program for first-generation community college students.

 

Marisa is a wife, new mom, and has two, goofy golden retrievers. She enjoys doing anything outdoors especially finding new hiking trails, exploring national and state parks, and camping with her family and pups.
