Biography

Tiffany Nistico earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling in Educational Settings from Rowan University.  Tiffany worked as a healthcare professional for 15 years before beginning her career in higher education as an academic advisor. 

While pursuing her Master’s degree she was an academic success coach, and completed her internship with Student Support Services.  In these roles Tiffany fostered the well-being and academic achievement of students experiencing various levels of difficulty and crisis.  In addition, her action research focused on the racial disparity between students on academic probation, and the educational outcome of raising student awareness to Rowan’s Student Persistence and Success programming. 

She is completing professional development training courses to grow in the area of advocating for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion of students, staff, and peers in the workplace, educational setting, and community. 

Tiffany is an Academic Advisor at Rowan University, working as part of the Rowan Global team and advises students in the online Law & Justice program.  She enjoys working with students toward their future goals in connection to their personal and educational experience.  Tiffany is passionate about getting to know students individually to provide support and resources for their success in and outside of the classroom.  

Outside of work you will find Tiffany spending time with her family and 3 dogs.  She also loves baking, staying active, being in nature - especially feeding wildlife, and is usually equipped with biscuits and a leash in case a lost dog needs to be found.
