Biography
Patrice Henry-Thatcher is a Registered Nurse and is certified through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She is the Academic Advisor for the RN - BSN program, and is a member of the 3+1 team in Mount Laurel. Patrice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Cedar Crest College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Moravian College, and a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education along with a teaching certificate from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton New Jersey. In addition to meeting the academic needs of students, Patrice is a champion for career readiness and empower student to explore the myriad of opportunities in the field of nursing nationally and globally. Patrice completed the Career Service Provider training from the National Career Development Association; and have previous teaching experience for a number of nursing courses at Rowan University and Rowan College at Burlington County. Patrice is passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all facets of education, and completed the Rowan DEI Certificate in August 2020. Patrice is an advocate for children in the foster care system; and is appointed by the Camden County Courts as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Patrice serves on the Haddon Township School District Equity Committee and is a member of the Anti-Racism Coalition Council at Rowan University.
