Biography

Hi, my name is Tatiana Perez, and I’m a Community Director at Rowan University. I work with an amazing team of Resident Assistants to help create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging living environment for our students. I’m originally from Ridgefield, New Jersey, and I’ve always appreciated the strong sense of community that comes from growing up in a small town.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Management with minors in Italian and Public Relations at Susquehanna University, and I’m currently pursuing my M.B.A. with a concentration in Human Resource Management here at Rowan. I got involved in student affairs during undergrad when I became a Resident Assistant, and I quickly realized how much I enjoyed helping students feel welcome, supported, and empowered. Since then, I’ve taken on roles like Lead RA, Career Ambassador, and Women’s Leadership Intern, which have all deepened my interest in student development and leadership.

Outside of work, I love photography, fashion and makeup, and learning new languages—I’m fluent in Spanish and Italian. I’m excited to be part of the Residential Learning and University Housing team and to continue creating spaces where students can thrive.
