Housing Contracts & Affiliated Housing License Agreements
University & Affiliated Housing Contract
This student housing contract is a binding legal agreement between the student and the University. Students who live in our on-campus residence halls are in contract for the entire academic year (Sep to May). You can only be released from the contract for extenuating circumstances. 2025-2026 Student Housing Contract
2026-2027 Student Housing Contract
Contracts cover all student housing owned or leased and operated by the University, as well as student housing provided for the benefit of University students by third parties (“Affiliated housing”) located at:
- Holly Pointe Commons through applicable agreements with Provident Group – Rowan Properties, LLC and University Student Living Management, LLC,
- 220 Rowan Boulevard through applicable agreements with Glassboro Mixed-Use Urban Renewal, LLC,
- 223 West High Street and 230 Victoria Street through applicable agreements with Glassboro A3 Urban Renewal, LLC, and
- 114 Victoria Street and 57 North Main Street through applicable agreements with Glassboro A4 Urban Renewal, LLC.
Any reference in this contract to University housing or student housing shall also include Affiliated housing unless otherwise specified. Provident Group – Rowan Properties, LLC, University Student Living Management, LLC, Glassboro Mixed-Use Urban Renewal, LLC, Glassboro A3 Urban Renewal, LLC, Glassboro A4 Urban Renewal, LLC, and their successors or assigns (each a “Provider” and collectively, the “Providers”) shall have all rights and remedies of the University and the ability to enforce this contract with regard to Affiliated housing.
Understanding the Housing Contract
Cancellation Fees
Fall:
Before June 1st: No Penalty
June 1st to July 31st: $750
August 1st and After: $1,500
Spring:
Before December 21st: No Penalty
December 21st to January 9th $750
January 10th and After: $1,500
After a Student has taken occupancy of the space, or after the official move -in date for the academic term, a cancelation is not approved at will by payment of a cancelation fee alone. The student must provide documentation of appropriate grounds for cancelation consistent with the cancelation provisions of this contract, and the cancelation
must be approved in writing.
If a cancelation is approved during the first five (5) weeks of the semester, a cancelation fee of $1500 will apply in addition to any prorated fees charged for the period during which the student was assigned to the space prior to the approved cancelation date.
