Registering for Accommodations

Registering for Accommodations

Acquiring Accommodations

  1. Students requiring accommodations should contact the Office of Accessibility Services upon receiving an acceptance letter or when a disability is identified.
  2. Provide the office with required documentation of the disability (please refer to our Documentation Guidelines)
  3. Meet with Accessibility Services Coordinator:
    1. Register for services using the Accessible Information Management system (AIM)(Click here to learn how to register) Students can use AIM to review accommodations, request faculty notification emails, and schedule exams.
    2. Meet with Accessibility Services staff member
    3. Discuss accommodations and develop plan
    4. ADHD Form only needed if there is no other documentation (IEP, 504, Testing) that indicates diagnosis: ADHD Verification Form
  4. For classroom accommodations, students will use AIM to request and send their accommodations to faculty members. Students are expected to speak with their faculty to discuss their accommodations once those accommodations are sent.

There is a new way that accommodations are delivered, we
no longer issue physical accommodation letters. Instead students use the Accessible Information Management system (AIM) to review accommodations, request faculty notification emails, and schedule exams.
