Biography
Dimitra Kossis earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Rowan University in May 2025. She graduated with minors in Neuroscience, Chemistry, and Biomedical Sciences, along with an Honors Concentration. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Rowan University. Alongside her graduate studies, Dimitra works within the Department of Residential Learning and University Housing where she serves as the Community Director for the Whitney Center. In this role, she oversees upper-division student residents, the Honors College Living-Learning Community, and the Second Year Engineering Learning Community (SELC). She also supervises a staff of seven Community Assistants to support residential engagement and community development. As an undergraduate Community Assistant, Dimitra worked in Mimosa Hall and Rowan Boulevard Apartments. During her undergraduate career, she was actively involved in a biochemistry-focused research lab, served as President of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) chapter, and was a three-time captain of Rowan’s Women’s Track and Field Team.
