Faculty Center Supports for Faculty Writing
Summer & Fall 2025 14-Day Writing Challenges
The Faculty Center is excited to convene interested Rowan faculty and graduate students for participation in the NCFDD’s 14-Day Faculty Writing Challenges.
- The Back to School Challenge runs July 21 – August 3, 2025.
- The Fall Challenge runs September 8 – September 21, 2025.
- The Winter Challenge runs November 3 – November 16, 2025.
Rowan has an institutional membership in the NCFDD, so there is no cost to participate. NCFDD has designed this challenge to allow you “to experiment with daily writing, online community, and supportive accountability,” as well as to meet some of your writing goals this semester.
By signing up, you’ll be committing to writing for at least 30 minutes every day, logging your progress in their online community platform, and supporting other writers in the challenge along the way. Go to NCFDD to learn more and register.
If you are interested in joining the Challenge:
First you’ll need to activate your institutional membership (if you haven’t already). Here’s how:
- Go to the NCFDD Institutional Membership website.
- Select “Rowan University” from the drop down menu.
- Click “Activate Account” and register with your Rowan email address.
Then you can register on this page.
