Rowan University Student Evaluations of Teaching (RU SET)

What faculty need to know

• Any course with a Canvas shell will receive student evaluations through the new system.
• For courses listed in Section Tally as Glassboro campus courses, faculty who do not already have a Canvas shell will need to request one so students can access and complete the evaluation.
• Faculty may begin requesting Fall 2026 Canvas shells on July 21.
  • Review your Fall 2026 courses in Section Tally.
  • Need a Canvas shell? Follow the instructions in this Rowan Announcer to request your Fall 2026 course shells.
• Faculty will access student evaluation response rates, dashboards, and reports through Canvas.

What students need to know

• Students will access course evaluations through Canvas.
• When evaluations are available, students will receive instructions through Canvas and/or Rowan student evaluation messaging.
