14-Day Writing Challenges
The Faculty Center and Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are excited to convene interested Rowan faculty for participation in the NCFDD's 14-Day Faculty Writing Challenge from October 7th-October 20th, 2025! Rowan has an institutional membership in the NCFDD, so there is no cost to participate. NCFDD has designed this challenge to allow you “to experiment with daily writing, online community, and supportive accountability,” as well as to meet some of your writing goals this semester.
By signing up, you’ll be committing to writing for at least 30 minutes every day, logging your progress in their online community platform, and supporting other writers in the challenge along the way.
If you are interested in joining the Challenge, first you’ll need to activate your institutional membership (if you haven’t already). Here’s how:
- Go to the NCFDD Institutional Membership website.
- Select “Rowan University” from the drop down menu.
- Click “Activate Account” and register with your Rowan email address.
- Click here to learn more about the Challenge
Local Community Support
Through the Rowan Faculty Center and DEI, we’re also creating an opportunity for some local community support throughout the challenge by hosting four hybrid sessions -- dates & times TBA.
- Goal Setting:
- Writing Together 1: (come and go as you like)
- Writing Together 2: (come and go as you like)
- Reflection Session:
