Using Canvas to Support Face-to-Face Instruction
The Faculty Center is offering a series of interactive workshops focused on using Canvas as a teaching tool for face-to-face classes. A Canvas shell will be used to support these sessions. Each topic will be a separate session. Each session will be an hour. Participants will receive a certificate.

- Why and How to Use Canvas Modules to Support Your Face-to-Face (January 4 & 9 @ 10am)
- Using Canvas to Support Communication with Students (February 12 & 15)*
- Using Canvas to Support Discussions with Students (March 18 & 21)*
- Using Canvas for Assignments and Assessments (April 8 & 11)*
- Managing Group Projects & Activities (May 13 & 16)*
- Using Speedgrader and Feedback (June 3 & 6)*
- Using the Canvas Gradebook (June 24 & 27)*
*Workshops are Mon. @12:30 pm & Thurs. @9:30 am
