Coordinated BS/MS Program in Nutrition & Dietetics

The Coordinated BS/MS Program in Nutrition & Dietetics (CP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). The CP includes lectured-based course work and 1,000 hours of supervised practice required by ACEND. Students are placed in a variety of settings, including medical centers, long-term care facilities, school nutrition programs, health departments, wellness centers and many other locations.

After completing the CP, the graduate earns both a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Science (MS) degree and is eligible to take the National Registration Examination to become a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN). In 2024, a master’s degree will be required to be eligible for the exam. In the junior and senior year of the program, you will complete 80 hours of experience and in the graduate year, you will complete 920 hours of experience.
