MSN Nurse Educator

The MSN Nurse Educator is an essential program for addressing many of today’s pressing needs in the health care arena. All nurses are educators, however, not all nurses are prepared as educators. The MSN Nurse Educator will provide the health care environment with nurses who understand instructional strategies, curriculum design and evaluation methods. With an MSN as a Nurse Educator, you can remain at bedside, become a staff educator, become a leader in your chosen area of expertise, and/or teach nursing to future nurses.

MSN Nurse Practitioner

The MSN Nurse Practitioner, which is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), was established to meet the need for trained professional health care leaders. The MSN Nurse Practitioner prepares Registered Nurses (RN) to sit for the specialty certification exam. The certifying agency determines eligibility for the exam. Students may specialize in Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

MSN Nurse Executive

This program prepares nurses to be leaders who can manage biomedical and information technology advancements, health care reform legislation, escalating costs with diminished reimbursement for services, and a workforce of multiple generations who are operating in tandem with healthcare organizations. This is an essential skill set for Nurse Executives who lead teams and practice innovative, creative approaches that will assist them in achieving stability and consistency in an unpredictable environment.
