MSN Nurse Practitioner Program
The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares leaders in the professional health care industry. The MSN Nurse Practitioner prepares Registered Nurses (RN) to sit for the specialty certification exam. The certifying agency determines eligibility for the exam. After completing 22 credit hours of core coursework, students in the Nurse Practitioner track may specialize in one of three areas: Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
