Certified Health Education Specialist Exam

The Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) examination is a competency-based tool used to measure possession, application and interpretation of knowledge in the Eight Areas of Responsibility for Health Education Specialists delineated by A Competency Based-Framework for Health Education Specialists.

The Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Wellness embeds these competencies into required classes. At the end of the program, students will be will meet the requirements specified and be eligible to take the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam.
