Student Organization Services

Student Organization Services is a collaborative partnership to support the variety of clubs and organizations at Rowan University. Contributing departments include:

Chamberlain Student Center

The Chamberlain Student Center staff is here to help student organizations plan great events on campus. Visit us to plan a late night/special event, sell items at the Information Desk, or promote your event on digital signage.

Greek Affairs

The Office of Greek Affairs supports fraternity and sororities at Rowan University. Greek Affairs advises five Greek Councils which serve as the governing bodies of affiliated chapters.

Office of Orientation & Student Leadership Programs

Leadership Rowan provides workshops and events to help individual students and entire organizations improve their leadership abilities. OSLP staff also administer the ProfLink co-curricular involvement system for Rowan students.

Office of Social Justice, Inclusion, and Conflict Resolution

SJICR provides support to a number of student organizations whose social justice and cultural awareness mission is aligned with that of the Office to ensure that these organizations are healthy, collaborative, and productive.

Residential Learning and University Housing

RLUH supports student government groups within each residence hall.

Student Government Association

Over 160 student organizations are chartered through SGA. The Student Financial Control Board allocates student activity fees to clubs and organizations. Organizations can reserve vans, apply for a fundraiser, and participate in the student org fair each semester through SGA.

Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation supports Sport Clubs at Rowan.

The gateway to campus involvement at Rowan University is ProfLink. This is a complete organization management system for clubs - recruit new members, manage your membership roster and officer positions, plan and promote campus events, upload meeting agendas and minutes, conduct elections, share photos and other documents from year-to-year, create and manage forms, and record service hours.

Student Organization Recognition

To be recognized as a student organization, groups must register via the appropriate ProfLink form and be approved by an organization sponsor.
