Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award

The Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award is funded through a gift from the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation. The purpose of the award is to honor one permanent faculty member with an outstanding record of teaching and a sustained record of commitment to student learning. Criteria

Glassboro Campus tenure-track faculty who have at least five (5) years of service. No recipient will receive the award more than once (see list below).

Excellence in teaching includes:

  • student engagement
  • reflective practice
  • developing learning activities
  • developing as a teacher
  • methods of assessment
  • advising or mentoring students
