Tuition Scholarship and Waiver Information

Tuition Scholarship for Dependents, Spouse, Domestic/Civil Union Partners

Dependents, spouses, and partners are responsible for applying for this scholarship in the same manner that they apply for all of the university's scholarships, through the following link: 

http://rowan.awardspring.com

All of the required information for the application must be submitted online. As a reminder, for a dependent to qualify for the Tuition Scholarship, the following is required:

  • The employee has worked for Rowan University in a full time permanent position for one year or more
  • A copy of the most recent tax return indicating the student is the legal dependent of the employee
  • The student must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher

Tuition Scholarship - Important Details for Applicants

The Office of Human Resources has been notified by AwardSpring that the 2018-19 Academic Year applications will be accessible via their web site on 05/30/2018. New applications will continue to be required for each academic year. Please be sure to select all semesters even if the student is unsure of their enrollment in classes offered all year. This will help avoid any confusion if applicants decide to enroll at a later date. In addition, as a general rule of thumb, it would be advised to make every effort to complete the applications by mid-June. However, if applications are submitted beyond that date, it is not problematic. Send an email to Amanda Tomczak, Employee Development Specialist, tomczak@rowan.edu to update the HR department of a newly submitted application. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tuition Waiver for Employees

Eligible employees should apply for the tuition waiver using the Tuition Waiver Form. This triplicate form can be obtained from the Human Resources Main Office. The fully completed form (white, yellow, and pink copies) should be returned to Human Resources for processing.
