Biography

Itzel Redondo is the Marketing and Partnership Coordinator for the International Center at Rowan University. In her role, Itzel supports the Center’s marketing initiatives and strategic outreach, helping to form meaningful connections and empower both international students and community partners.

A proud Rowan alumna, Itzel earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Spanish and a concentration in International Studies in 2017. During her time as a student, she was actively involved in the Office of Social Justice, Inclusion, & Conflict Resolution and completed internships with the CHSS Match Internship Program and the Office of Senator Robert Menendez. Itzel also spent a transformative semester studying abroad in Granada, Spain, where she discovered a passion for global engagement and marketing.

Following graduation, Itzel moved to New York City to pursue a career in marketing. What began as an internship quickly evolved into a full-time role, launching her professional journey. She later relocated to the Philadelphia metro area, where she found an opportunity that combined her love for marketing, cultural exchange, and travel—allowing her to gain international experience while continuing to grow professionally.

Itzel brings over eight years of experience in marketing and project management to the International Center, along with a deep commitment to fostering inclusive and globally connected communities.
