Meet our International Student Ambassadors
Our International Student Ambassadors are student leaders who help create connections across campus. They serve as cultural connectors, peer supporters, and representatives of the International Center. Ambassadors welcome and engage international students, share opportunities to get involved with the International Center, and build bridges between international and domestic students, making campus feel like home for everyone.

What advice would you give international Students?
As an international student at Rowan University, the best advice I can give is to be open, proactive, and confident in the value you bring. Take full advantage of the resources around you professors are approachable and eager to support you, the tutoring and writing centers can strengthen your academics, and the Office of Career Advancement is there to guide you toward internships and career opportunities. Getting involved in campus life by joining clubs, attending events, or connecting with cultural and international student groups, it's one of the best ways to build friendships and ease the transition into a new environment. Don't hesitate to look for on-campus job opportunities that also build experience. Remember to care for your well-being and homesickness is normal, but the Rec Center, counseling services, and community activities can help you stay balanced. Most importantly, never forget that being an international student is a strength you bring diversity, resilience, and a global perspective that Rowan values deeply. Stay curious, stay engaged, and embrace every opportunity you are not just here to study, you are here to grow, thrive, and leave your mark!
