Students who are Parents
Students who are Parents
The Family-Friendly Campus Initiative aims to keep college students who are parents in school.
The Family-Friendly Campus Initiative offers resources and events for all Rowan University students who are raising children. The Family-Friendly Campus Initiative also launched the Rowan CCAMPIS Program, which offers free or low-cost tuition for eligible students' children at the Early Childhood Demonstration Center as well as social and academic services designed just for college student parents.
This initiative is a collaboration between College of Education faculty and the Early Childhood Demonstration Center. Their work is funded by the U.S. Department of Education grant called Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS, pronounced "see campus").
