Commencement 2026 – Parking Lot Closures and Accessible Parking Information

Due to preparations for Rowan University’s 2026 Commencement ceremonies, several parking lots will be closed to ensure safe event setup and operations.

The following parking lots will be closed during Commencement activities as of May 8, 2026. 

• Lot C

• Lot D

• Lot O

• Lot O-1

• Lot M

• Lot W

In addition, North Campus Drive will be closed during this time.

Lot O will reopen on Friday, May 15, 2026.

Students, employees, and visitors should plan accordingly and use alternative parking areas during the closure period.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking accommodations are available for guests with mobility needs. Individuals who require accessible parking must complete the Commencement Accessible Parking Request Form here: Accessible Lot Form 2026

Requests may be submitted March 23 - April 24, 2026. Permits are limited and issued first-come, first-served.

Accessible accommodations are available for individuals who:

• Use a wheelchair, walker, cane, crutches, or powered mobility device

• Are unable to step on or off a bus or van

• Require assistance walking or are unsteady on their feet

• Cannot use stairs

• Use portable oxygen

• Are unable to walk more than 100 feet unassisted

• Have hearing or visual impairments

Because parking lots may be located a distance from ceremony locations, guests needing accessible parking are strongly encouraged to request accommodations in advance.
