The Rowan University Wellness Center is not an emergency room. Students experiencing a medical emergency should seek immediate assistance using the steps below.
On-Campus Medical Emergencies

These numbers connect you to emergency responders who can dispatch medical assistance and transportation to the nearest emergency facility.
Off-Campus Medical Emergencies

If you are using a cell phone, your call will initially reach New Jersey State Police and be redirected to the appropriate local emergency dispatcher.

Emergency & After Hours Care Resources
If you are not experiencing a medical emergency but want immediate medical assistance you may visit a local urgent care facility. Patients are responsible for either their insurance co-pay or cost of the visit. Private insurance coverage varies, so it is recommended that you verify coverage.
