Wellness Center Partners With FamCare

The Wellness Center partners with FAMCare to provide sexual and reproductive health services for Rowan University students. Services are available on campus at the Wellness Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the semester.

FAMCare Services

FAMCare accepts some insurance plans, and many services are offered free or at a low cost, including:

Female Health Services:

• Well Woman exams (age appropriate)
• Pap tests, pelvic exams, and breast exams
• Anemia screening
• STI testing and treatment
• Health counseling
• Birth control medications
• Free HIV testing (Glassboro office only)

Contraceptive Options (Low Cost):

• Oral contraceptives (pills)
• NuvaRing®
• Depo-Provera injections
• Nexplanon®
• Male and female condoms
• Dental dams

Male Health Services:

• STI testing and treatment (herpes, chlamydia, gonorrhea)
• Cancer screening
• Free HIV testing (Glassboro office only)

Gloucester County Health Department Clinics

Rowan students may also access free, confidential STI and HIV testing through the Gloucester County Health Department:

• STI Clinic: Wednesdays, 3:00–4:30 PM
• HIV Testing Clinic: Thursdays, 4:00–5:00 PM
