Family Weekend provides parents, siblings, and other family members the perfect opportunity to experience Rowan, meet other families, and spend time with your student.
Please note that some of the events listed below require a fee and/or have limited capacity, so we urge you to register as soon as possible. We thank you for your flexibility and understanding.

Rowan University Art Gallery is pleased to present To Whom It May Concern, a new solo exhibition featuring Genevieve Gaignard. To Whom It May Concern will feature Gaignard’s self-portraiture, collages and installation, Black White and Red All Over, that confronts nostalgic views of American culture. Through her exploration of race, femininity and class, Gaignard interrogates notions of skin privilege while challenging viewers to look more closely at racial realities.

Gina Lemanowicz Pusloski ’03 will return for the sixth year to lead Poses with Profs. Grab a mat, water and maybe a little sunscreen for a relaxing and transformative 60-minute, vinyasa-style session.
Combining elements of Ashtanga, Iynegar, Bikram and classical yoga, this awakening practice will bring you strength, restoration and peace.

Ask about Rowan’s very own radio station! WGLS-FM is a regional radio service with a potential audience of almost 1.2 million people and has won over 245 national and regional awards since 1993. The broadcast covers South Jersey, parts of Philadelphia, and Delaware. WGLS-FM is licensed to the Rowan University Board of Trustees and is a non-profit organization. Twenty-four hours a day, a staff of independent volunteers broadcast various musical, cultural, educational, entertaining, and informative programs of interest to Rowan University and surrounding communities.

The main component of the trading room is the 12 Bloomberg Terminals, a state-of-the-art tool used by industry professionals to access real-time market data, news, and analysis for over 174+ countries and 360+ exchanges. Bloomberg Terminals feature a 24/7, global financial services system with over 20 years of company financials and market data.

NASA’s 21st century Artemis program, named after the Greek moon goddess and twin of Apollo, is the next step in our mission to explore the universe and land the first woman and person of color on the surface of the Moon. Using innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before, NASA uses what they learn on and around the Moon to take the next giant leap: sending the first astronauts to Mars. Join Kari Byron from Crash Test World and MythBusters as she launches on a journey beyond the Earth towards a sustainable future in space. During this 1-hour program, we will point out which planets and constellations are visible.

Urban Bush Women: Legacy + Lineage + Liberation

In honor of Urban Bush Women’s vibrant history of thirty-eight years and counting, Legacy + Lineage + Liberation celebrates the power of Women(+) in an evening of classic works that transcend genres and amplify the voices of Women(+) of color.
These iconic works by UBW Founder Jawole Willa Jo Zollar and a new work by Co-Artistic Directors Chanon Judson and Samantha Mame Diarra Speis give multiple dimensions of life that resonate in this time of reflection around equity and justice, and that lift up Black lives in inspiring ways. Works include but are not limited to: Give Your Hands to Struggle; Women’s Resistance; I Don’t Know but I Been Told...if You Keep on Dancin’ You Never Grow Old; and Haint Blu.
Runtime is approximately 100 minutes plus one 10-minute intermission.
The Marie Rader Presenting Series at Rowan University brings exceptional artists to campus, enriching the university community and the Southern New Jersey region through expanded performing arts programming, bolstering a robust academic program in dance, music, and theatre. Go on an astronomical journey from our beginnings through the development of astronomy research in South Africa and discover what the future of astronomy holds for the country. In addition to introducing multi-wavelength and multi-messenger astronomy, Rising Star highlights the many remarkable South African facilities and some of their latest results, including unrestricted views of the 10-meter class Southern African Large Telescope and the most powerful radio telescope in the Southern Hemisphere, MeerKAT.
