Biography

Tiffany Probasco-Francis is an educator with over two decades of experience specializing in multilingual writing, teacher training, community and organizational development, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). She holds degrees from Florida State University (B.A. in Spanish and Film Studies), Suffolk University (M.S. in Organizational Learning), and Teachers College, Columbia University (M.A. in Applied Linguistics).

Tiffany has taught at colleges and universities across Boston, New York, Delaware, and internationally. She has led curriculum development for nursing and customer service training programs tailored for Fortune 500 companies including serving as the coordinator for the Welcome Home Project which served foreign trained nurses in passing the NCLEX exam at LaGuardia Community College. During her tenure, the program had a 98% achievement rate. 

She has served as a U.S. Department of State English Language Specialist, the Senior Trainer and Hiring Manager for The TEFL Academy, a UK-based online TESOL training program. In addition, she has taught adult ESOL for the New Castle County Vocational Technical School District in Delaware, focusing on Workforce Development and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), with particular expertise in the construction and healthcare industries.

In addition, Tiffany is a contributing author of When We Hear Them: Attuning Teachers to Language-Diverse Learners and of the chapter “Lowering the Barriers: Investigating and Celebrating Racial Diversity in the Multilingual Classroom” (IAP – Information Age Publishing, 2024).

Her passion lies in fostering inclusive education and community, bringing together individuals from diverse cultural background and firmly believes that education and diversity are essential to a thriving global economy.
