Biography

Dr. Thomas Greene is the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Rowan University and part of the team that supports Rowan’s international student and scholar population. Thomas holds dual U.S./Irish citizenships and grew up in New York and Vermont. He has lived in several regions of the U.S. and spent nearly three years living abroad – mostly in Southeast Europe and Southeast Asia. Thomas began his career in international education and exchange working for a non-profit in New York. He spent 10 years in the Pacific Northwest where he attended graduate school and worked as an international advisor at Tacoma Community College and the University of Washington in Seattle. Thomas spent 10 years with the Office of International Services at NC State University and five years as the Director of International Student Programs at Davidson College. Thomas holds a Master's degree in International Studies from the University of Washington and a Ph.D. in Educational Research and Policy Analysis from North Carolina State University.
