Requesting Laboratory Waste Disposal

All waste pick up requests must be completed using the Hazardous Waste Determination & Pickup Request Google Form (link provided below). Before submitting a Hazardous Waste Determination & Pickup Request Google Form, please read the following information carefully. The information collected through this form fulfills an EPA regulatory requirement ensuring that waste is properly classified. It also ensures that Laboratory Safety has the information necessary to safely handle and store the waste. All waste must be labeled with the appropriate Rowan University waste label during accumulation in the laboratory and when offered for disposal. Alternative waste labeling methods are prohibited.

The information submitted on the Hazardous Waste Determination & Pickup Request Form must match the information listed on the waste container label. Errors or missing information may result in delays with waste pickups from your laboratory.

Once you have submitted a Pickup Request Google Form, the Laboratory Safety Department will review the information provided. You will receive an email from Laboratory Safety with an estimated time that your waste will be removed.
