Advisory Board Nominations

Nominations for the Women’s Alliance Network (WAN) Advisory Board will be open from January 8, 2024 through February 9, 2024.  

All are welcome to apply no matter your current role, however, you must be a Rowan University, Virtua-SOM, Rowan Medicine, CMSRU, or Cooper employee. WAN provides avenues and opportunities for women from all areas to network, foster their leadership skills and develop strategies for advancement.

Rowan University WAN Board responsibilities include:

• Serve a three-year term on the Advisory Board
• Attend regular board meetings (during the academic year) and actively participate in meeting discussions 
• Attend Board events (live or virtually) that include meetings, workshops, the annual conference(s) and the annual planning retreat
• Chair and/or participate in operating committees as well as report on all committee work to the Board Chair and other board members
• Provide leadership and promote involvement of others in the network
• Function as a goodwill ambassador and spokesperson for the network and its activities
