Welcome to the Women's Alliance Network

The Women’s Alliance Network (WAN) is dedicated to fostering professional and personal development opportunities for those within the Rowan University community. WAN is committed to cultivating an educational, social, professional, and inclusive environment where voices and values, in all their diversity and richness, are both heard and celebrated. 

History

The Women's Alliance Network at Rowan University was created in 2020, as an evolution of the ACE Women's Network at Rowan University, an institutional chapter that mentored, supported and developed women leaders since the early 1980s. Our name was changed to reflect our commitment to individuals throughout the campus community. With a strong organizational structure, support from senior leadership and a diverse representation of individuals, the Network continues to thrive and grow.  

Structure

WAN is led by an Advisory Board composed of Rowan University employees, with support from a Student Advisory Board that brings student perspectives and ideas to the network. Together, they help shape WAN’s goals, programs, events, and initiatives while identifying opportunities to strengthen connection and belonging across the Rowan community.

The Advisory Board works collaboratively through five standing committees: Community & Belonging, Marketing & Communications, Mentorship, Programming, and Signature Events.
