Senior Advanced Practice Provider, Penn Medicine
Global Transplant Nursing Leader | Genomics & Informatics ExpertDr. Maria R. Molina is an internationally recognized expert in transplant care, immunogenetics, genomics integration, and health informatics. A Senior APP in cardiothoracic transplantation at Penn Medicine, she blends high-acuity clinical expertise with modern precision-medicine and digital health systems.
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University, completed postdoctoral genomics training at Harvard Medical School, and holds a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education from the University of Pennsylvania. A 2025 FAANP Fellow, former ITNS President, and co-author of more than 150 scholarly works, she has advanced transplant innovation lectures across 46+ countries.
Dr. Molina is also a United Nations speaker and global advocate for equitable transplantation, known for her “glocal” approach—bringing global science to local communities

The Next Level You conference is a signature WAN event designed to empower, educate, and connect. Building on last year’s focus on health, advocacy, and happiness, this year’s theme—What’s Holding You Back?—dives deeper into the mental, emotional, and systemic challenges that often keep individuals from reaching their full potential.
You’ll explore how mindset, fear, boundaries, and self-belief intersect with leadership, advocacy, and wellness in today’s world.
