GPA Forgiveness

Are you worried about a low GPA? Students who return to Rowan and complete 12 credits with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher can connect with their academic advisor to be reviewed for GPA forgiveness.

To be eligible for GPA forgiveness, undergraduate students must have:
  1. Started at Rowan University as a first-year or transfer student,
  2. Earned a cumulative GPA of less than 2.0 during their first 60 credits at Rowan University,
  3. Left the university after their first 60 credits, and have not attended classes at Rowan University for a minimum of two consecutive years,
  4. Returned to Rowan and completed 12 or more credits with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Academic Standing Policy

Students who have attempted 12 or more credits and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 are considered to be in Good Academic Standing.
