Make an Appointment

How to Use Rowan Success Network (RSN)

Schedule advising and other appointments using the Rowan Success Network at www.rowan.edu/starfish-pilot. Login using your network username and password (not your Banner ID and Pin).

 

To make an appointment with a member of your success network:

  1. Find “My Success Network” in left menu of your RSN homepage
  2. Click “Schedule Appointment” under the appropriate name
  3. Move through the calendar using the mini calendar tool located in the left column. All dates with availability will be bold
  4. Available meeting times will have a “Sign Up” link. Click this link to make an appointment for that time and select a reason for the appointment from the drop-down menu
  5. In the Detailed Description box, include your Banner I.D. and Cell Phone number, as well as additional details on what you’d like to discuss during your appointment
  6. Click “Submit” to finalize your appointment
  7. You will receive an email confirmation for your appointment.

If your academic advisor is NOT listed in your Success Network, please contact your department secretary to request that your advisor be assigned in Banner.

To cancel an appointment:

If you need to cancel an appointment, locate the appointment on your RSN dashboard and click the (X) icon to the right of your appointment. Enter the reason for your cancellation and click submit.

 

To make an appointment using Services in RSN

  1.  Click Services at the top of your RSN dashboard.
  2.  Scroll to and click on the service to open it.  (Please note you may need the buttons at the bottom   of the page to advance to the next page of Services.)
  3. Locate the person with whom you wish to schedule an appointment and click Schedule Appointment beside his/her name.
  4. Move through the calendar using the mini calendar tool located in the left column. All dates with availability will be bold
  5. Available meeting times will have a “Sign Up” link. Click this link to make an appointment for that time and select a reason for the appointment from the drop-down menu
  6. In the Detailed Description box, include your Banner I.D. and Cell Phone number, as well as additional details on what you’d like to discuss during your appointment
  7. Click “Submit” to finalize your appointment
  8. You will receive an email confirmation for your appointment.

To schedule tutoring appointments

Log in to your Rowan Success Network account at www.rowan.edu/rsn. Once logged in, click on the Courses icon on the left side of the page. From the Courses page, find the course for which you are seeking tutoring.

If tutoring is currently available for the course, you will see:

Course Number 
Day and time that you're available

Tutoring Services

Schedule Appointment

Click the Schedule Appointment link and use the mini calendar tool located on     the top left of the page to find the day you want to schedule an appointment. Dates with available appointments will appear in bold.

Click on the desired day to view the available appointment time slots.

Click + Sign Up for the desired appointment time

Complete the required information and click the save button. You will then see    the tutor’s name, day and time of the appointment. Click Schedule > to finalize    the appointment.

 

CANCEL or CHANGE Tutoring Appointment

Log in to your Rowan Success Network account. Upcoming appointments will be listed on your Dashboard in the time line view. In the upper right corner of the appointment box, click the edit icon to modify the appointment or the  cancel icon to cancel it.

*Please note, at least ONE HOUR of notice is required to cancel or change an appointment.*
