Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society

Delta Alpha Pi is an academic honor society founded to recognize high-achieving students with disabilities who are attending colleges (including community colleges) and universities as undergraduate or graduate students. Founded in 2004 at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. The three Greek letters stand for disability, achievement & pride.

Members display pride in their academic accomplishments as honor students who happen to have a disability. Delta Alpha Pi members strive to change the negative perception that students with disabilities cannot achieve academically. Through public recognition, leadership, and visible participation in educational activities, Honor Society members counteract such prejudice. If you are interested in becoming a member click here. The College Diabetes Network

The Rowan University chapter of The College Diabetes Network (CDN) is a national 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide innovative peer-based programs which connect and empower students and young professionals to thrive with diabetes. CDN is the hub of information and resources for all things college and diabetes.

Cerebral Palsy Guidance

Cerebral Palsy Guidance was created to provide answers and assistance to parents of a child with cerebral palsy. Our goal is to reach as many members of the cerebral palsy community as possible, building up a network of support, as well as providing necessary assistance.

We cover cerebral palsy from all angles–from symptoms, causes, and treatment, to daily living information, such as communication and transitioning to adulthood articles.

Our information is provided by expert writers and is thoroughly researched and cited.

GettingHired

GettingHired is a free employment resource for students and job seekers with disabilities. We post over 100k jobs ranging from internships through senior level positions from 190+ employer partners on our fully accessible site. These partners include many Fortune 500 companies like IBM, Disney, MetLife, Coca-Cola, Lockheed Martin, and Microsoft. These partners not only post jobs through our site, but they also actively participate in trainings we have regarding disability inclusion and awareness.                          
In addition to employee partnerships, GettingHired strives to actively partner with career centers nationwide to ensure that our disability-focused career resources are easily accessible to all students with disabilities. We partner with hundreds of community and educational partners including nonprofits and advocacy groups who all take advantage of our disability resources for their job seekers or students. Some partnerships we currently have include, but are not limited to, the Job Accommodation Network, USBLN, and NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers).
