Biography

Dr. Andrew Perrone serves the Office of Volunteerism & Community Engagement. He has been at Rowan University since 2009 and has been proud to be a part of a growing array of programs and resources designed to support students and their success. In addition to leading volunteerism and community engagement programs, this department also supports The SHOP Pantry & Resource Center as well as Rowan Shuttle Services.

Andrew received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Economics from Saint Joseph's University. After completing this undergraduate degree, he served for a year as an AmeriCorps Vista volunteer working with the City of Philadelphia's Office of Emergency Shelter & Services. He went on to complete his Master's Degree in Organization & Leadership from the University of San Francisco while also working for their Office of Residential Life. Next, his career took him to jobs at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA, Creighton University in Omaha, NE, and the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL before landing at Rowan University in 2009. In 2019, Andrew completed his Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at Rowan University.

Dr. Perrone is passionate about working with college students and aiding them in setting & reaching their goals as successful students, citizens, and community members.
